Breast Cancer in Men

Breast cancer occurs mainly in women, but men can get it, too.

Research Shows

● Many people do not realize that men have breast tissue and that they can develop breast cancer. Cells in nearly any part of the body can become cancer and can spread to other areas.

● Breast cancer in men is not detected until more advanced stages because men dont get screened with mammograms and usually wait until they feel something.

● Cancer in men occurs behind the nipple and feels like a hard marble. The lump may or may not hurt which means the breast cancer may or may not be painful.
